Absolutely devastated as I lost my big boy Locki on the way to the vets after an emergency situation… 6th April 2024
RIP Tunzapower Porter (Locki) 15/03/2019 to 6/04/2024.
Locki, a happy boy, was a gentle loveable soul with the patience of a saint. He guided and trained my breeding fur babies Bonnie, Boo, Angus, Argos, Ava, Cora and Candy. Although not able to breed with him he was still one of a kind. My heart is broken 
He loved:
- Sitting in the Bunnings paddle pool keeping his rear end cool during summer
- Playing with the neighbours kids
- Boo standing over his head
- Sleeping near the fire
I don’t know how many times we’ve rescued his tail from being on fire - Playing with the little ones but only when they could rumble and tumble with him and he always ran in the opposite direction when the puppies were left out to play. How scary they were
- Play time with Angus was the best…
My heart hurts so bad for you my big gentle giant boy Locki. Run wild and free my boy in the fields of yellow flowers until I get to see you again.

The vet confirmed my suspicion of a twisted stomach or GDV that came on very quickly. Not as common in Bullmastiffs however Locki was a very big boy at over 72kgs at his lightest.
In this instance there was nothing we could have done for him as there was also some evidence of an issue with his lungs which did not assist him in this situation.
Hug your furbabies for me as I hug Locki’s pack Angus, Argos, Boo, Ava, Cora and Candy.
