Our ex-breeding dogs that are now pets or we have re-homed.
There is always a reason as to why we either keep our ex-breeding stock or re-home them.
Current pets:
Locki
We have decided to keep our boy Locki as our pet as we know that with the advice given from the our very experienced veterinarian that this boy will eventually have arthritris. He has already displayed hip and elbow soreness and even pulled a hamstring when playing to boisterous with Angus. Now I’m dealing with eye issues with this big boy…
We hope that he will live longer than anticipated, however, making the decision to put him to rest if and when required is a decision that only I should make as I believe in quality of life rather and quantity.
Re-Homed Pets:
Bonnie
We are very excited to announce that Bonnie went to live with her new family on 19th July 2023. Shannon and her family wanted to pick her up and celebrate her fourth birthday so she drove all day to meet her, pick her up and stay overnight in a pet friendly hotel.
They bonded quickly and Shannon now provides me with lots of updates demonstrating how she has settled into her new life. She even now shares toys and sleeps with the cat. I’m so proud that this beautiful girl is now receiving the loving attention that she deserves in her retirement.
Love you to the moon and back my Bonnie lass and there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think about you and your cuddly wiggles…
