I always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to author stories about my dogs. Bella, being my first bullmastiff puppy came into my life when I was needing a companion as I just started working from home and she went with us everywhere.

In my eyes she was one of a kind.

Although, a typical bullmastiff, Bella had lots of experiences with Graeme and me. These experiences helped shape hers and our lives and we became inseparable.

When I decided to go down the path of becoming a breeder, I wanted to breed her with Locki and unfortunately this never eventuated.

After grieving of her passing, I sat down, put pen to paper, and reminisced on the experiences and wonderful highlights of her life. As there were so many I decided there and then that my books needed to be suitable for children aged between 3-8 years and made into a series.
